Jolkhabar is what a Bengali house eats late in the morning: something fried, something with potato, something sweet, and a glass of something cold. It is never rushed, and it always turns into a conversation.
We are laying one out for a small table of entrepreneurs and business owners. Food, kena-kata (a little shopping), adda, and the kind of networking that happens naturally when people sit down and eat together.

Is Rs 1,499 per person?
Yes. One registration covers one guest. Bringing a colleague? Change the quantity before you check out.
Who is it for?
Entrepreneurs and business owners who would like to meet others over a proper Bengali meal. You do not need to be Bengali to come.
Is the food vegetarian?
Yes. Every dish on the menu above is vegetarian.
Is there anything more to pay inside?
Not for the food or the gift. Only if you decide to take something home from the shopping table.
What do I bring?
Your order confirmation on your phone, and nothing else.
Can I get a refund?
No, registrations are non-refundable, and we would rather tell you why than hide it in the fine print. There are only twenty-five seats and we do not take a single one extra. The moment you register, that seat leaves the counter and somebody else is turned away for it. If you cancel two days before, we have no way to find that person again. The seat simply goes empty, and two people lose out instead of one.
So please register only if you are sure. If something does come up, your seat is fully transferable: send a colleague or friend in your place and just tell us the new name at least 24 hours ahead.

Shipping & delivery
Ready pieces are usually dispatched within 2 to 5 business days of payment. Delivery across India takes about 3 to 7 business days to metro cities and 5 to 10 elsewhere. International delivery is arranged on request. Tracking details are shared once your order ships.
Returns & exchange
Returns or exchanges are accepted when a piece arrives damaged in transit, is the wrong item, or has a major defect. Please raise it within 24 hours of delivery with a continuous unboxing video. Small irregularities in weave and dye are the mark of handwork, not defects.
Made to order & custom requests
Most designs can go back on the loom if a piece has sold out. Some come back almost identical, others share the weave, design and colour family with small variations of their own. Custom sarees and menswear are also possible. Message us on WhatsApp or book a consultation and we will tell you what applies.
